Oklahoma Grass-Fed Beef Tradition
Hello from the Oklahoma Prairie! A place where old meets new. We are the 3rd generation on our Oklahoma homestead, but the first to do regenerative ranching and sell direct to our customers with farm to table beef. We are rebelling against the current culture of toxic food and are dedicated to restoring the land with ecologically raised cattle as nature intended. Giving our customers the best tasting and healthiest grass-fed and grass finished American beef is what we are about.
What makes us different?
We use a small framed breed of cattle called South Poll instead of the typical larger cattle. The larger cattle can sometimes end up tasting "gamey" or can be tough when finished on grass only. Large breed cattle often need grain to be finished in order to get the nice marbling in the beef. The smaller South Poll cattle thrives on a grass only diet and naturally produces delicious, well-marbled beef.
When will you have beef available for sale?
Soon! Taking over the homestead has been a huge undertaking. We are essentially having to start from scratch with our own specialized herd. It takes time to grow a healthy and happy grass adapted herd. We are at the start of this new journey and welcome you to follow along!
